Program Details
At Recovery House of Central Indiana, we provide a Christ-centered, residential recovery program for men seeking freedom from addiction and restoration through Jesus Christ. Our home is a place for newly (30 days) sober men looking for a safe and structured environment to grow and become reconnected to God, their family and their purpose.
In our home, you can expect 4-6 men in recovery living life as a family. Rotating cooking, cleaning and property management schedules are established at in-processing. Specific skill sets (or lack thereof) are taken into account when managing expectation of duties. It is our hope that the sober environment and healthy life-style practices will equip these men with the interpersonal and tangible practices needed to function within a standard Christ-centered community. Residents can expect regular visits from social workers, community leaders, faith mentors and counselors. A live-in Manager with 3+ years of sobriety will lead the house and maintain the day-to-day needs, structure and support of our residents.
Our faith-based working program, requires residents to detox prior to being permitted into the program. Residents are required to attend and participate in three Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), and/or Christian Recovery (CR) meetings each week, in addition to weekly religious services. Two weeks after being accepted into our home, residents are required to either, work a full-time job, volunteer or attend school. Our program will assist in this area if meeting the requirement is a challenge.
Program Policies
To protect the well-being of all residents, staff, volunteers, and the surrounding community, we maintain clear boundaries regarding eligibility.
We do not accept individuals with a history of sexual offenses or violent criminal offenses.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Sexual offenses of any kind
• Offenses involving abuse of children or vulnerable individuals
Applications are reviewed prayerfully and individually. All criminal history will be thoroughly reviewed. While we desire to help as many men as possible, certain histories are not compatible with the safety requirements of our Christ-centered community.
